Make Internet Explorer 7 Faster and Faster

You can make IE 7 / 6 faster then before with increase the amount of connection per server. With do this will make a additional bandwith and will improve the perfomance.

So this the trick :

1. Click Start --> Run --> Type Regedit --> then OK
2. Then Go to this addres HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings
3. then look for on the right side the vallues called "MaxConnetionsPerServer" and "MaxConnetionsPer1_0Server"
4. If there are not, right click on the right side panel , New --> DWORD Value with the name "MaxConnetionsPerServer" and "MaxConnetionsPer1_0Server" then assign number " 6" in value data in both
5. The Click OK and Restart your computer to take the change effect

Disable Indexing Service

a program for index and update procces for your file at computer. I think this useless
So to disable it :

1. Click Start ---> Click Settings --->Control Panel ---> the Add/Remove Programs
   
2. The click Add/Remove Windows Components
3. Then uncheck the indexing Services
4. Click Next
   

Disable The Error Reporting Feature in Windows XP

Some time your program "Not Responding" the automically close, after that apperar The error Reporting dialog. if you don have internet connection or don't want thas message appear, i will give you this tip

1. Right click on my computer on the desktop or open your explore & right click on my computer ---> properties
2. the when system properties dialog open click tab advanced ---> look on the right bottom "error reporting" the click that
3. choose disable error reporting, then leave it
   
4. click OK the OK again

There are 2 types of Password

1. Password to open the document ------ This just open the document
2. Password to modify the document ----- if you can't give the correct password, the document just be read only

How to Enable Excel Auto Save File

This tips will give you how to enable Auto Save in Excel

1. Click Tools ---> Options
2. The Click Save Tab and check "Save AutoRecover Info Every" the Change the time under the default, if you want to modify the location you saving automatically just change the setting on "AutoRecover Save Location" up to you
   

Move Temporary Internet Files

1. Open Internet Explorer, click on the Tools then Internet Options.
2. Go to General tab then Settings button under the Temporary Internet Files
3. Here click on Move folder button then select new location to save Temporary files on different drive or computer.

Change The Start Button Setting

Always export or backup your registry, so if come error you can load that.

1. Click Start ---> type regedit on run option
2. Find HKEY_Classes_Root ---> Directory --->Shell
3. Here then right click and add key ( the name up to you ) press enter
4. Right click on that key and give the full path of the program which you want put at start button. Example : if you want Power DVD the full path is C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD\PowerDVD.exe
5. Check your Start Button

No Menu Delay ?

Yes if you want to quick when you open start menu, i will give you the tips and trick.

1. Just click Start ---> Run ---> and type regedit
2. When you see a registry editor, looking for HKEY_CURRENT_USER ---> Control Panel --->Desktop, after tha looking for MenuShowDelay at the right panel and double click the change the value data with "0"
3. Don't forget to restart your computer to take change effect

Disable or Enable Cookies

Some time Cookies is important to enable, so you can open the site like yahoo, friendster , and other. But if you want to disable the cookies, this the tips :

• Open Internet Explorer, click Tools ---> Internet Options
• Click Privacy tab ---> click advanced button
• Check Accept if you want to enable the cookies, if you want disable check the overide automatic cookie handling then choose block
  

Internet Error Codes

When you browsing and open the site, sometime there you only see a errors code.
I will give you the kind of these codes and meaning.

• 400 Bad request error, check the URL
• 401 You trying open the unauthorized site, check your username/password
• 402 Payment required error
• 403 You trying open the forbidden site or you are blocked by that domain
• 404 You trying open the site has been removed or renamed
• 408 This the time out error

Disabling Autorun CD

Maybe you don't like this feature because it's disturb your work maybe, so why you don't disable this feature. I will give you the tips. Just edit the registry.

• Open Run Window : Klik Start ---> Run ---> And type regedit
• Looking For HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom
• Change the Value of Autorun 0 to disable and 1 to enable. To take the change effect, restart your computer.

Change The Recycle Bin's Name

You want something new name for your recycle bin. It's easy and you will like it !

So this the Steps :

1. Click Start ---> Run
2. And then type regedit and press enter
3. Now Registry Editor appear and open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT ---> looking for folder CLSID ---> Open {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} folder ---> ShellFolder folder at last.
4. Finally change the Attributes value with "40 01 00 20" to "70 01 00 20" Just Double Click it.
5. Restart your computer, after that you will find option to rename the recycle bin so change recycle bin's name as you wish.
